Software engineer / XR Developer
Daniel Neves Coelho
Hi! I’m Daniel, a Germany-based software engineer specialized in XR and game development. My journey started 2016 with my first VR, AR and gaming projects while studying human-computer interaction. To this day I’m very passionate about these media and enjoy exploring and pushing their boundaries.

- Implementing interactions
- Client support
- Target audience tests
- Mentoring working student
Escape Quest
A fun and cooperative escape room adventure designed for free-roam virtual reality. It’s perfect for first-time VR players, with plenty of interactive objects and physics-based puzzles to get familiar with the medium and controls. They explore the entire train and must find clues and combine objects to get the train up and running again.
Responsibilities:
- Network Programming
- Interaction Design
- Implementing interactions
- Implementing save point system
- Mentoring interns
- 3D modelling
Bodies Under Influence

A live VR dance performance that choreographically explores the space between the real and the virtual world. 20 to 30 visitors dive into VR together and see the live dance performance of a real dancer. The dancer wears a motion capture suit and his performance is streamed to the visitors but enhanced with added visuals and events. During all of this the visitors share the same space with each other as well as the dancer.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Lead
- Network Programming
- Implementing a setup to control changes in the virtual world during the performance
- Implementing interactions
- Technical setup
- Technical support during live shows
Next Picasso
An easy to use VR painting application with a focus on the experience. Users are able to draw with different tools and colors and after finishing, they can make an in-game photo with a polaroid camera, put that into a virtual printer and their photo will be printed on an actual printer in polaroid format.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing interactions
- Implementing tracked screen through which visitors can see the user painting in VR
- Implementing real printing of the user’s photo
